Beyond Recitation: Tajwīd and Spirituality is a translation and commentary in English on one of the earliest texts of tajwīd written as a didactic poem, known as the Khāqāniyyah by Abū Muzāḥim. This poem is unique in that along with topics pertaining to tajwīd, it also mentions spiritual topics that are an important part of the development of every Muslim, especially students and teachers of the Book of Allah.
