Forty Hadith

Islam is the religion of knowledge, especially such knowledge as is related to the understanding of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad held that seeking knowledge was incumbent on every Muslim. According to a Hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas, the Messenger of Allah said, For those who go on a quest for knowledge, Allah will smooth the path to Paradise. As the title suggests, this book is a compilation of 40 Hadiths which stress the importance of knowledge, learning and teaching.
